A heavy coated basic type low hydrogen iron powder electrode with metal recovery (deposition efficiency) of 115% approx. It gives excellent arc stability, arc smoothness and very easy slag removal. It has exceptional, all positional operating characterics giving X-ray quality welds even for pipe welding in 5G and 6G position, The weld metal is tough and ductile.

CAST IRON ELECTRODE

WELCAST - Ni



· A medium heavy coated electrode with pure nickel core wire special designed for welding cast iron the cold way. The nickel deposite does not pick up carbon from the base metal and hence remain ductile. Soft and easy machinable and the same time retains adequate strengh. This enable successful use of the electrode without necessity of preheating even on large complicated casting.
